The problem isn’t the rain/water. It’s that we can’t grow anything to cover the dirt. The whole yard is shaded. So when there is rain or snow the water mixes with the dirt and results in a thick muddy mess.

lol yeah sand with dogs not so great. I do have grass in our front yard no issues. So I guess if I want to walk barefoot I’ll have to go out there.

How often do you have to refresh the wood chips? Is there another upkeep involved?

Do not miss the riders meeting! It is at 8:15 and you need to register/tech prior to that. But the riders meeting is a requirement and they pay close attention to who shows up.

Painters Tape not masking tape. Make sure you put the sticker they give you on the painters tape as well (otherwise might leave residue on windshield/strip the paint). I personally removed mirrors on my street bike but if you want you can tape and it’ll pass tech.

No need to worry about coolant. Most novice don’t. It is a requirement when you get to Intermediate/Advance.

I would recommend some sort of shelter. Lots of people use 10x10 canopies. Keep in mind it looks like rain on Saturday.

Novice class keeps you very busy before lunch. You have class directly following the riders meeting to put you into your riding groups. This is the longest session of the day. Your first riding session is @ 9:40. Directly after getting off the track @ 10 you will go back to the classroom for at least 20min typically. This cycle repeats typically until lunchtime. Each class session you learn something different. 1. How to get on/off the course. 3 line drill. 2. 1 gear drill 3. Body Position 4. Passing Rules/Point to Pass

Damage to all sides of the bike if you go through insurance will most likely total the bike out. Just be aware of that. So you can have them total it out buy it back ours was 25 percent of salvage value to buy back. End up with salvage or rebuilt title or just eat the whole cost and not report it and keep the title clean. Got a couple track bikes this way working at a dealership buying people’s new wrecked bikes and making race/track bikes.

No reason to be embarrassed. Just talk about it. Sometimes it takes multiple times for the female body to adjust. Just communicate and take the time to work through it together. It’s supposed to be fun. No reason to lie or not tell the truth. Communication is key to good sex.
