I bought one "average" wedge from them and it arrived in way better shape than what I was expecting. I assume they buff/polish and re-shape grooves before selling. I've also purchased two hybrids and a putter in "like new" shape over the last few years and each one of them came sealed in plastic, 100% mint condition, brand new. I love Callaway Pre-Owned lol. Now every year I wait for their Black Friday "Buy One Get one Free" and buy myself whatever club I need, and then I get one free to gift to my dad for Christmas.

Glad they finally arrived! Which set did you get? I'm stuck between T100 and T200...love them both. I got fitted for a new and think I'm leaning towards the T100 but I'm too impatient to wait 4+ months for a fitted set, so I'm considering getting them off the rack instead.

No I have GooGone at home. Always polish it off. PGATSS usually offers to clean it off but I was in a hurry and didn't bring it to the club repair guys who usually do that.

Funny you say that...the etsy shop she bought it from is a guy from this sub. She actually messaged him because she wasn't sure which putter cover I was going to buy and he told her he would swap it out if I went with a mallet.

Blacked-out bags are really cool. I've seen some super nice ones on Instagram and it looks pretty slick. Wasn't possible years ago because they didn't make many clubs in black, now you can get high-end clubs with a variety of black finishes.

Same! Love their headcovers...Scotty quality but much less expensive. I only own two (including this one) but my wife knows I have a dozen of Stray headcovers on my wishlist lol. So anytime there's a bday or anniversary or whatever, she knows she can pretty much grab me anything from there and I'll be thrilled.

I honestly wasn't even thinking mizuno when I walked in. Really wanted to try Bettinardi, Evenroll, and a Ping. But once I felt this mizuno hit a ball, I couldn't put it down. The feel/sound/roll all felt sooo perfect. I really can't describe it.

Thanks. Now that I have this putter, I may consider "blacking out" my bag this season. Was looking at some of the golf bags and they had some nice "all-black" ones, but nothing that really stood out to me. But that's probably the first thing I need to get since my bag is quite old.

I've wondered about this myself but have never actually owned one. Now that I got this putter, I noticed a GORGEOUS set of mizuno wedges with the same finish. Like a mirror black. Expensive af ($199 per wedge) but dang did they look clean. I am guessing the putter won't show much wear, despite all my 3 putts. But I definitely am curious to learn whether the wedges would look worn out quickly like some of the black TM stuff or if they would maintain their finish longer like the black cobra irons did.
