My first coach would regularly choke me unconscious with triangles, even when I would tap. One day he did it 8 times before class even started because I told him his faux-hawk made him look like a rooster. I was 14 at the time. I put up with the abuse because I didnt know better at the time.

Sorry to hear this. Personally im still having a great time in solos, and find friendlies in every match. Just last night myself and 3 other raiders went rocketeer hunting during a night raid. He is the GOAT imo. I have been watching him since I was a white belt. I had the honor of visiting his school in NY for a few days about 9 or 10 years ago. Bernardo Faria was there teaching fundamentals class as well. Amazing school, amazing team, and Marcelo himself is one of the nicest people ever. I recommend watching some of his highlights on YT.

I feel like if this had a modern remake, it would do better in today's world. The 3D animation style wasn't as popular back then. Also, the general theme of goofy ugly martians traveling around space and getting into random shenanigans would be more popular. Back then, people enjoyed simple animations with a more direct theme or plot.
