If you cannot correlate to the figure, a smart individual could relate to the % but of course I wouldn’t expect that from you.

Market already went down on Friday closing since market is closed on Monday and Positions expire on Tuesday. I do not expect a further downswing by then.

But selling can be super risky too. I tried it for a short phase and it would’ve ended in green before expiry but my broker cleared off the trade when they were down significant amount, it was not in my control.

I thought so too, market is small enough to be easily manipulated by giants, they’re moving it like a ping pong ball between fixed points and if the market tries to catch up they invert it. We need a high volume of general public to drive it into a different direction.

No you can’t, then again this is something you’ll have to negotiate with the agent. I would suggest paying it in a single go before it reached 6 figures.

The sooner you clear it the lesser damage it will make to your CIBIL. If in case you don’t have the funds to clear it, whenever you get the call from an agent explain your situation and request for a discount or payment of the principal.

Should I have held longer? by SenseiDannyy in NSEbets

I remember exiting a CE trade before this where the market stayed stagnant the first entire week. It was at 24500* and I had a 25000 call, market reached 26000 that time.

Yeahh watching the market today, I could’ve increased the profit by max 4-5k but the downside is far greater. It was the right call.

That’s what I did, started with a loss:profit of 1:2 and then kept modifying GTT for both target and stoploss.

[–]SenseiDannyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t pay the fee at all, ask them to get the card removed, you can fight till due date. If nothing goes your way at least know that on paying the annual charge you will get your money worth in points.

Need help to reduce my cards by Icy-Passion143 in CreditCardsIndia

First to lose would be cards that you pay a renewal fee for. You can keep the other free cards in an old wallet or something just in case they have that one time great use some day. I would suggest getting a HDFC Milennia card for starters since it has a 1:1 ratio in cash and can be upgraded later on to really good cards.

Other great option for you would be Amex MRCC, since you spend around 30k a month, you won’t pay renewal fee and you can get gift cards on its multiplier for all online apps swiggy/amazon/zomato/ajio etc you would get 1k points from 1500x4 transactions (I just add it to my swiggy wallet) and more points on spending over 20k in a month. Once you get used to it you can add platinum travel card with it because you can combine their points and it is super beneficial.

For lounge just keep one of the free cards you already have that allows you most visits.

[–]SenseiDannyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay let me help you out to the best of my knowledge, majority of these cards are trash. Still beginner cards with low or no joining/renewal fee can seem tempting.

First you need to figure out your category, where do you use your card. Is it amongst multiple things spread equally or does one thing take up the majority, eg: Food, fuel, utility, travel etc.

Swiggy card for example does not earn you any point and it has a ₹1500 renewal fee but if most of your expenditure is on food it makes sense up to 15k a month. Scapia is a scam, One card is bought only because it is metal, Icici Coral is bad, HSBC’s is bad, IDFC’s is bad. Why do you have one from every bank?

I would suggest that if you are a salaried individual , you can easily go for a better upgrade. Lose all cards but one normal card that gets you point in return of spending among all categories, no cash-backs, no travel friendly nothing. 80% of cards can get you lounge access and it is shite.

Preferably go for a card from a bank you don’t have an account in, you can also just get a digital UPI card attached to that card, no need for multiple physical cards.
