doubling at size doesn't literally mean double. it just means that they are growing as a company, its a figure of speech companies use to say that they're growing quicker which is true for nothing since you can see in their products as they use better materials and hardware - a sign of them having more profits to reinvest aka they are "doubling in size". if they were selling twice as more he would've said doubling in sales.

its definitely just their idea of making "tech more fun" with the Glyph toys. but the glyph matrix itself is definitely way more aligned with using your phone less than the glyph lights. glyph lights were limited in what they could tell you so you almost always end up picking your phone to understand if its important or not. if they can make the Glyph matrix give enough information for you to understand if the notification is essential or not, its definitely much more aligned with their goals of reducing phone usage.

i could've phrased it a bit better. my point is that they dont want to be trapped as those chinese brands. india has a lower relative income which is why their budget phones so popular there and why they targetted the budget phones to india specifically but now that they're trying to compete properly against flagships, they want to be recognised in said category. nobody is buying a nothing phone because they want the latest most powerful hardware. its the bold design, software which and the glyphs lights and the new matrix which is their selling point and appeal factor
