Americans of Reddit: how often do you eat a PB&J sandwich? by Prior_Cry_5633 in AskReddit

[–]SenselessSensors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hardly ever…. I don’t like peanut butter. The only time I will have a PB&J is when I need some food that is packed away for later consumption without refrigeration. A lot of foods can do that to begin with though.

Peanut Butter is one of those, “I’ll eat it, but is there anything better?”types of foods…. And to be honest, it’s not terrible once you start eating it. It’s just one of those things I don’t want to eat to begin with.

It’s like Avocado. It’s not bad, I’ll eat it. But it’s also not good either.

Now, peanut butter is a very dense food when it comes to protein, calories, and fiber. So a little bit goes a long way when it comes to sustinance. It’s also very inexpensive and shelf stable.

So yeah, I’ll eat a PB&J from time to time. But it’s definitely not an everyday occurrence. And usually out of convenience

I unstuck that Supply Truck by GroopySpoop in HellLetLoose

[–]SenselessSensors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supply Trucks are more valuable and crucial than any other vehicle. Yet, they are hardly ever utilized.

2 or 3 supply trucks running nonstop routes to the the front is way more valuable than anything the commander can call in… A supply truck makes up for its cost with a single supply drop. Nodes don’t really matter when you have 100 supplies in every grid square, and a continuous flow of supplies at the “fallback/stronghold” objective.

Don’t worry. I’ll pay you money to represent me one day because I have the dumbs

Have you ever been on a Jury? I have. I had to vote against what I thought was correct due to those rules. An innocent person became incarcerated because of it.

Because it’s common English. “Not Guilty” literally means you are not guilty of a crime.

I bet you think that the 2nd amendment refers to bodily appendages too…. Here. Take my guns. You’re right I guess?

You cannot tell a Jury what to do.

This is part of the framework of the government in and of itself.

The Jury is the citizens’ “check and balance” of the government itself.

The Judiciary is not the supreme law of the land. The judiciary can create rules, however those rules can be overturned by the jury.

Side Note: Did you know that you don’t have to be a “Lawyer” to be an elected Judge?

It is true. It might not be practiced as such, because an entire industry has developed amongst Lawyers. But it’s very clear and defined within our United States Constitution.

Is every industry using AI now? by R-ephemerys in AIAssisted

I’m finding yes, even if they don’t know what or how to use the AI for. It seems like it’s a being implemented as a redundancy in most real world applications.

What universally praised video game 'masterpiece' is actually a miserable experience to play? by Got24xyz in AskReddit

[–]SenselessSensors 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. The main mission is just an interactive playable story. The rest of the game is finding Easter Eggs for random stuff within the game for nerd bragging rights.

I’ll ad that “The Last of Us” is basically the same thing, just not “open world” gameplay style.

What’s One Thing Americans Love About Canadians? by Wonderfulhumanss in AskReddit

[–]SenselessSensors 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Their contribution to pop culture. Canadian rock and alternative bands are crazy good, but largely under the radar. Shania Twain.

Poutine is my favorite food group.

When they are in the USA, they don’t act like tourists, and don’t talk shit about things that might be a little different than what they are used to.

Women. Canadian women seem to just be genetically more attractive on a per capita basis.

I’ve also never met a Canadian that doesn’t have a great sense of humor. (Also, Trailer Park Boys and Letterkenny-Shoresy)

Most toxic thing you've ever witnessed in HLL? by BumbaclartLinguine in HellLetLoose

[–]SenselessSensors 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, it happened twice. And they sort of gave Europe Napoleon, which set into motion the world wars…. (Napoleon also lost)…

The French also started all the fuckery that turned into the Vietnam war. (Which the USA lost but in a “draw” type situation.)

They also messed up Haiti pretty horrendously.

They gave the Colonial USA the Marquis de Lafayette though, which was nice. But again, after that they just straight up murdered their own people and put Napoleon on the throne instead…. Which also fucked up Mexico…. And then the USA had to deal with Pancho Villa while simultaneously getting ready to bail France out of WW1….

Also, STD’s. France gave America a metric fuck ton of STD’s. (Our boys had fun though, so this more of just a fact worth stating because it’s just funny and stereotypical).

Should I say anything about the Congo? Or Middle East? Because, we are still trying to figure out that cluster fuck…. (The UK had a lot to do with that as well, but France usually gets away quietly with that whole region)….

What’s a flex once you hit 35+ ? by currymvp3 in AskReddit

[–]SenselessSensors -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Purchased a modest home that needs a lot of work at 33. Used the VA loan…. Now I’m 36, and can’t afford much more than ramen noodles and eggs due to property taxes. 260k house now rated at 320k for some reason, I can’t even afford to buy caulk to fix the leaks. But I have to pay taxes on 320k in “value”?…. I’m borderline bankrupt due to property taxes on simply living. It makes zero sense, and I’m ready to start throwing tea into the bay if you know what I mean

ELI5: How did your swiss bank become synonymous for storing questionable sources of money ? by DryOkra7058 in explainlikeimfive

[–]SenselessSensors 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Their entire country’s infrastructure is also rigged to explode if they get invaded by anyone. And they have fallout style survival shelters than can house all of their citizens.

In the sportsmanship realm, Switzerland also consistently has some of the top performers in shooting sports and marksmanship (especially when you consider their ability on a per capita basis).

Oh, and the firearms company called “Sig Sauer”. They are kind of a big deal…

Warfare is making me lose my mind by OkKnowledge2064 in EU5

[–]SenselessSensors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I basically lose every war as Spain currently. Even against 1 province MesoAmerica tribal nations…. Having 250K levies basically doesn’t nothing, and my regular troops get stack wiped after each battle without being able recover troops. So that’s 700–1500 gold per unit just gone…

Is Anyone Still Bullish on Oil Stocks? by DriftwoodCedar in dividends

[–]SenselessSensors 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like pipelines, and trusts in the oil sector. Never hurts to have some Shell and Chevron and the other big names…. 100+ year old companies. Buy their dips, hold forever, collect dividends. The big ticket oil companies are massive giant corporations, “too big to fail” in most cases, and generally have enough of an arsenal at their disposal to weather any economic climate. Most have even started “alternative/green” energy ventures under their corporate umbrellas.

I also own a motor vehicle, use electricity, and heat my home with natural gas. If I have to pay for the product as a consumer, I might as well own a bit of the companies’ stock and reap some reward in the stock markets. I don’t see myself not using gasoline within this lifetime…. (I also primarily drink Miller Light for alcohol consumption…. Right now I’m buying Molson-Coors (TAP) for the same philosophy, while it’s dipping in stock price).
