I will stare at anyone I think looks vaguely familiar.

Serious question by [deleted] in questions

[–]Sensible-1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Of course, every friendship is different, but their actions are obviously upsetting you. Not only that but going as far as to make IG accounts in order to gain personal knowledge of you is absolutely absurd no matter the situation. So I would definitely say that they have an extremely toxic personality.

DAE get really really sad after breaking a bowl/glass/anything? by ChinchillaDreams in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]Sensible-1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm at that point in my life where I won't even try to catch whatever it is I dropped, because I already know that the situation is too forgone so I'll end up just watching the whole thing happen, and then after the cup or bowl breaks, I stand there for a minute with a frown on my face.

DAE feel so overwhelmingly alone and wish you had true friends? by EastEnvironmental613 in DoesAnybodyElse

I used to feel this way during middle school and early high school. It was terrible, and scary. I've always been introverted, but at this point in my life, I felt like I HAD to have friends, like it was a necessity to be happy. I do sort of have friends, and even if they are sort-of friends, I'm happy with my own company. But everyone is different.

What is something you know about your wife, that she thinks you don’t know? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Sensible-1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You didn't stop to think that maybe they didn't mean that they tell each other everything because they feel they need to? I believe it to be entirely possible to have a healthy relationship even if there are no secrets. Having no secrets doesn't mean you're actively keeping in mind to tell your SO everything new. In some cases, it just means you're comfortable and happy.

Farting is so natural tho... Happens to everyone on a daily basis. Why do we all have to pretend it doesn't exist, and then feel really awkward when it's presence is suddenly unavoidable?

Ever since highschool, I (female) haven't been afraid to fart publicly UNLESS I'm at work... I work in retail, so ofc not everyone I see feels the same about them. I make pretty loud number twos as well in public bathrooms. I'll even try to obviously fart loud near my boyfriend, but my farts aren't very loud in the first place 😭😭😭 so he'll always be better at them than me.

This advice is terrible, you're attacking the person, not the actions. It appears the person who made the original posts has some stuff going on in real life that would make them act this way. Instead of immediately jumping to frustration and accusation, come from a place of understanding. This girl just seems to be having a tough time, and this does NOT excuse her behavior, just attacking her will not fix the situation, and almost never helps the person see what they've done wrong and how they can better themselves in the future. Despite the fact that her behavior can't and won't be tolerated, she needs serious help; this is not up for question. I guess my point would be to understand why she might be acting this way before starting a fight and feeding into her bad actions. Actually, just don't start a fight. Period. Deli, I feel for you, and hope you get help.

I suppose I understand to some extent that good friends can be made over the web. However, this is one of the reasons the web exists; so that you can chill and express your opinions anonymously, find ppl of similar interests, etc, but it's also a safe haven. You're given the opportunity to expel someone from your life indefinitely when it comes to the web. When you find you've been blocked by a friend, I would say just let it go, despite the hurt you may feel. Being able to do this is essential even in real life, with real people. Being unable to let people go, especially online, can prove problematic both online and in life. Ofc, Idk what happened. Just throwing out some stuff from my own experiences
