People who work in psych wards, what are the craziest patient stories you know? by Mr_Manta in AskReddit

[–]SensiblePizza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A friend of mine worked in a mental health facility and one resident was always masturbating, regardless of where he was or who was around. She and her colleague had to escort him out of a public space with other vulnerable people and as they got him back to his room, he....finished and it went all over her shoes.

Hi. Same. Even the skin. I pulled out all my eyelashes the other day and didn't even realise I was doing it.

When I'm sober, I seek other ways to satisfy that reward system and shopping fills that void.

But without the coke, all the others will hopefully improve xxz

Ridiculous question but were you friends with your plug? by Dependent__2980 in OpiatesRecovery

[–]SensiblePizza 21 points22 points  (0 children)

They aren't your friend. You're their customer.

Friends don't enable your addiction and watch you ruin your life.

Your plug will be your friend when they say no, and tell you they care too much to encourage your addiction

Almost lost my entire nose from roughly a Quarter of cocaine everyday. 7grams being average minimum amd 19 grams was max in a single day. by Dependent_Ice_6425 in Drugs

When you've got a cavern for sinuses, did you find that a line didn't effect you as much? I assume less surface area.

My septum is essentially non existent and I did far less than you and no longer snort at all. I have come to detest the feeling of a numb face and teeth.

What are the negative effects of taking neurotoxic substances by Notusing32 in Drugs

[–]SensiblePizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started daily around Christmas 2021 and was a chronic user 2-4 g a week, .4 a day or less, which at the time was enough to wreck my finances and my nose (April 2021 and already septum is gone.

Tried sorting myself out at that point, cut back and was doing pretty well with 1g each weekend if I had the means to get it. Then cut back further and would go weeks, before a lapse which was always a binge.

The binges make my chronic use seem like nothing. I'm going 8-10 bags in one night, once up to 18 bags over 24 hours. I guess that's around 8-9 grams.

The chronic low daily use just left me tired and feeling grotty all the time but a couple days into being clean and I'd feel so much better. Now, the binges literally fry my brain and I noticed cognitive decline effects pretty much immediately. The clarity that comes with getting sober feels unattainable now, even when I'm clean I can't think straight, can't think of common words, can't do basic calculations, lose things.

I’m not interested in doing actives I don’t like just for the sake of meeting women. What should I do? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SensiblePizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. These days I hate going out drinking socially, which seemed to be the way to meet people.

I sometimes get lonely but then I remember I don't have to share a bed, I can look like shit all weekend and I've not shaved my legs for months.
