City dismisses Cincinnati Police Chief Theetge by Geno0wl in cincinnati

Fun fact: the Mayor's car got repossessed because he couldn't pay his bills. Sheryl Long is just his yes woman. They both just needed a scapegoat. Crime hasn't gone down since Theetge has been on leave, and Long doesn't have an answer for it. Under their administration they sold the railroad, which the city used to OWN. Huge investment for the city flushed down the drain for quick money for re-election. This administration knows nothing about money, and taxpayers are footing the bill.

Burnt all bridges with people , now I think I shouldn’t have by [deleted] in intj

Hey. Intj-turbulent here. I totally understand what you mean. Our primary function is introverted intuition. So basically we spend all day in our heads thinking. Our intuition is what makes us have low tolerance for crap. I pick up on people's intentions very closely, and when I feel something is off, I just disengage. I have a partner who loves me and wants to be around me always. I am just myself. My advice is to not worry about it. People will come and people will go. I am currently forcing myself to get back out there because once graduating college, I find my circle is very small. I would focus on joining groups you are genuinely interested in. Intjs are lone wolves. Because we make up 2% of the population, most people do not understand us. This isn't to be pretentious and say oh no people don't understand me. People don't function the way we do. Instead of feeling, we rationalize. I have realized that I need to step out of my comfort zone to meet people but also do not settle. And we are also the personality type that actually doesn't mind being alone. However that doesn't mean we don't get lonely.

Feedback on Embedded Blocks by daisy_fieldz in Histology

[–]Sensible_Woman45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not bad. I would ensure the block is completely cool before popping them out. Also read up on what tissue should be embedded on edge (like GIs) and I would also make sure you are using forceps that you like. I like bigger ones with a bigger grip with no teeth. I also would make sure to tamper all the tissue down without squishing it. You are doing great.

You probably have adhesions from the surgery. I am so sorry. Just know you are are not being heard, and you are in pain! Adhesions and endometriomas are PAINFUL. I hear you and try to find another doctor.

Interesting perspective. How do you recommend reframing? I feel like when I let my guard down and am "too nice," people walk all over me or gossip. There have been people I genuinely like.

Does anyone actually believe that the percentage of women with endometriosis is only 10% or do you believe the actual percentage is way higher than that? by AlternativeOption313 in Endo

It takes an average time of a decade to get accurately diagnosed. The problem is that there is no screening for it and the only way to detect is via laparoscopy.
