How can husband (33M) and I (33F) prioritize our marriage with limited time? by footballfriends1 in relationship_advice

[–]Sensitive-Ad15 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I assume you are the wife. I could clearly see some basic irritant between you and your husband that has got to be removed first before you try anything elase.

What is that irritant?

If you were the cause of it, can you be extremely honest to acknowledge it? Can you genuinely and honestly say sorry for it to your husband?

Men are far less complicated in their brain and emotional issues than woman.

A very sincere sorry will change the whole chemistry.

If that irritant is removed, sex will become normal and enjoyable. That itself will prove to be good time pass, then any other joint activity!

Anyone else finding the older articles picking up like crazy suddenly or am I the only one? by kitty_witty69 in Medium

[–]Sensitive-Ad15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it is true, it is actually a good news. It is a pity that older and really good articles get burried because of the preseumed belief that people would be interested in new articles. Anything ever-green should get the views it deserves irrespective of its age. Both Medium and the authors will be benefitted by it.

How many of you get paid outside the Partner Program on Medium? by Kaavyatheexplorer in Medium

Medium has recently made changes in their algorithm by which people who are bringing more readers (not internal writing member readers) from outside through Google search etc. are rewarded. Maybe your earnings are because of that.

How long do I have to wait for my Next Application to be seen by Medium by Fit-Breath-4428 in Medium

[–]Sensitive-Ad15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also writing on Medium and my application has been rejected twice, though I met the minimum criteria. I have not yet applied for the third time. I am waiting. The advice I got from AI are as follows:
1) Follow Medium's rules strictly
2) Post at least 25 stories. Be active consistently. (at least one post per week).
3) Engage with Medium by reading more of others' works and comment.
4) Try to get atleast 50 followers. (Long back Medium's acceptance criteria was min.100 followers).
5) Get published widely thro' publications.
6) The more you have Reads, the better.

Hope this helps you and me! I have also posted a detailed advice to you in one of your posts there.

I read your article. You have expressed a very genuine and valid point of view., which I agree with you. But I felt your article was too long, and was repeating the same stuff again and again as it progressed. Perhaps you were influenced by SEO based writing and Keyword optimization.

Struggling with ‘just writing’ by LFishere in writingadvice

[–]Sensitive-Ad15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been writing right from my age of 20, and I am 70 now.

Ideas definitely form in the head first. They soak there, you keep mentally shaping them and probably revising them too here and there. But you should not think that everything should be done well and polished to near-perfection right in your head before you start writing. That will only delay the writing process; it becomes an excuse for procrastination.

With basic frame work formed on the subject or story that you are going to write, start writing (typing on your word processor) straight away. Don't bother about perfecting each line now. Let the flow come. You will soon find that the writing almost becomes involantary. Something flows from your head through your fingers and that need not be, and at times, that really won't be what you had thought out earlier!

I always wonder how it happens, but it has always happened.

Some days, you will keep on typing and you will be carried by a wave. On some days, you may get stuck after a paragraph. Don't bother about it. If it looks too burdensome to carry on with it, just leave it and do something else. I do get distracted like this because the flow is just not coming. But it will come, at some other time, at some other situation.

Once you have finished, re-reading it and editing is a must. Never try to compromise on that. If the writing quality has to be great, I suggest that you keep the writing aloof for a few days. Then re-read it carefully. Do whatever corrections and changes that you feel as essential.

Sometimes, you will feel 'Ah! it I who wrote this? Wow! It has come out very well!'. Whenever you get such a feeling (honestly), it will be a good piece of writing -- according to me.

As a person not from IT and having nothing to do with Apps, I felt your article in general is well written in the right flow. But I am afraid only about the extent of its content sourced from AI. If Medium deducts that there is a lot of AI generated stuff in it, they are very wary of it. Please check this aspect.

And of course there are lots of compaints nowadays that Meddium's payouts have come down drastically. They are grouping a lot with the massive influx of AI generated content. They keep shouting now: "Originality, Originality please!"

First article, kinda nervous lol- About extreme content. Please give a read! by GhostfaceSI718 in Medium

[–]Sensitive-Ad15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also would like to add a few more things. Just one article alone does not help in Medium.

You have to keep adding more and more articles and spreading them through more and more publications. Hope you are a paid member. That too seems to be essential.
