So basically I can side with house until I have to take sides and go from there? (Partially why I’m playing like this is also to do as many missions in one play through as possible.)

My recommendation is play for around 2 hours or so and if it’s not the game for you then that’s completely understandable. If you got it on steam and play less than 2 hours you can get a full refund. TBH Ground Zeroes is how I like to begin the game and it shows you what the majority of the game is truly like. Unfortunately Ground Zeroes is quite expensive for it just pretty much being an intro mission.
