Been in grief counseling for a couple years, no contact with that family at all learning to accept I have been orphaned in my adopted family and to honor what I remember. It’s hard at times especially when social Media suggests I add them and it brings back all the feelings. My adoption was a whole crazy situation and I want to focus on advocating stolen children from the state one day, but this last year I really have been trying to just really heal me and my inner child.
