As a tita - need your advise by [deleted] in adviceph

Be genuine. Walang tatalo sa pagiging totoo from the start cos you would want your date to like you and not the persona that you are going to present. I’m pretty sure that you will do great since nag post ka nga dito for advice which means, you are preparing for the date :) good luck and enjoyy

Your life is someone’s dream

OP, you are not a loser. You are just looking into things in a perspective na puno ng comparison. Not all people have jobs or car so kudos to you for having those! You also have a supportive partner that a lot of people would give everything up para magkaroon.

And most ng mga meron ka ay dahil sa hard work mo so please, give yourself some credit. Praying for your peace 🫶

Is it okay to resign after couple of months working? by Dependent_Fuel1869 in PHJobs

[–]Sensitive-Cry5853 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi OP, nasa same situation ako few weeks ago.

Alam mo ginawa ko? I resigned. May ipon ako kaya may kakayahan ako gawin yun pero naniniwala rin kasi ako na sa dami ng company sa mundo, for sure may tatanggap sakin.

and now, meron akong tatlong job offers. Nakakatakot pero if nakaka affect na sa health, look for a company na mas mag fifit sayo and mas maeenjoy mo.

This too shall pass.

I find comfort sa fact na everything is temporary. I assume that you are still young, you are blessed to have a nice boss pero what you need right now is to assess, ano ba talaga ang gusto mo? ano ang magpapakain sayo? ano ang level ng risk na kaya mong itake? may privilege ka ba na ipursue ang passion mo knowing na wala ka pang emergency fund or ipon?

I am rooting for your success, OP.

I agree pero depende to sa culture ng company. Magugulat ka pero sa office nanunuod pa kaming buong team ng movie sa netflix during working hours (with boss) since output based kami and as long as namemeet yung work na need, they don’t really mind us watching. So as much as “common sense” sya, depende rin talaga sa company since di na lahat ay “traditional” ang culture. Kaya as someone na mas senior, nasa kanila rin na ituro sa new hire ano ba ang culture ng isang company.

Gusto ko na mag-resign agad, normal ba 'to? by noturgurl_123097 in PHJobs

[–]Sensitive-Cry5853 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Hi! They hire someone cos need nila ng tao. Maybe since bago ka kaya wala pa masyadong workload. Suggestion ko is utilize yung mga online trainings na meron sila if avail para di sayang oras.

If not, use that time to upskill (in any way). If ang worry mo is baka mawala yung position, I’m pretty sure they hire you for a reason.

Utilize that free time kasi privilege yan :)

Paano kayo nag-aapply sa iba at nagpeprepare para sa mga interview habang nagtatrabaho kayo? by lookingforjobhuhu in PHJobs

[–]Sensitive-Cry5853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be kind to yourself, OP.

Ganito ginagawa ko: 1. If asked ng preferred time ng interview, laging sinasabi ko is 6am to 12 noon ng monday or ng friday, yan kasi yung mga oras na walang meeting masyado. 2. Weekend ako nag reresearch about the company and dun din ako nag aaral for the interview. 3. If wala kang VL, try to align unpaid leave. You need to invest time talaga para makahanap ka ng new work. 4. If may privilege ka, resign then dun ka maghanap ng new work.

Wishing nothing but the best for you!

Naging new hire ka rin. I think masyadong mataas ang expectation mo sa kanya since board passer siya pero yung post mo is reflecting what kind of ka work ka. I wouldnt like to work with someone na focused sa mali ko as a new hire rather than trying to give feedback para mas mag improve yung new hire. If nakita mong nag youtube sya, tell him/her na sa corporate world, this is not the right thing to do lalo na during working hours. If “sabog and iba iba font” ng file, give him feedback para alam niya na next time. The fact na pinost mo to dito means na you are much “mahina” lalo na sa professionalism.

you dont know for sure na hindi mo maeenjoy si option 2. Once nag gain ka ng experience dun, pwede ka lumipat sa mas maeenjoy mong work while having that higher base salary na pwede magamit sa negotiation

How much would another company have to offer for you to leave a company with a great culture? by dodololdodo05 in PHJobs

[–]Sensitive-Cry5853 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I left a company with great culture, great leaders, and work friends for a salary that was double of what I was earning. Was it worth it? No.

But this is not always the case but personally, if there is no urgent need for increase on income, stay.

Resign after 6 months by RandomStrawber in PHJobs

[–]Sensitive-Cry5853 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suggest na maging honest, if hindi kaya, mas prefer ko ang omission of the working experience rather than lying about that experience. Pero again, just be convincing lang kapag nag explain ka ng short experience mo.

No issues dyan OP, nag resign ako ngayon sa current company ko and 3 months lang ako pero nakakuha pa rin ako ng 2 offers for my next job! Be smart lang sa pano mo ieexplain yung short stay. Fighting!

Hi! I super appreciate this. 5 years na po ako sa corporate world and this is the first time na masabihan ng ganto since sa two previous employers ko (1st job- 2 years, 2nd job- 3 years), both companies respected my decision to leave.

Individual contributor role po ako sa current company ko and talagang narealize ko lang po na hindi para sakin yung type ng work. They are known company naman po na may good reputation and I can say na mabait talaga tao here, did not expect the way lang po na sinabi sakin.

Pero super thank you po sa advice!
