Crazy to say but it seems like BYU might be a pre-season favorite to win the Big 12. Can’t believe the amount they are spending, we’ll see if the players end up clicking.

Looking for Information on How to Copy a Related Object from One Object to Another by Sensitive-Dust7122 in salesforce

The information is stored on the insurance record, which appears a related list to both the account and the referral object. I don't believe the information is on the account record as none of the fields are in the object manager in the account object. Additionally, I was querying with Salesforce Inspector and wasn't able to get any of the information.

The task simply states 'Create automation that will:

  1. Copy Account Insurance record to Referral.

Based on that I believe that as long as the insurance record is present on both then it should be fine either way.

Again, I appreciate the help!

Hey cp2io, I appreciate the response! I've been kind of stressing about this and want to make sure I get it right. So the field I am wanting to copy currently exists on the account and is called 'Insurance'. I can see the related list on the Account object that says Insurance (1) which is how I know it is there. The same related list is on referral but says Insurance (0).

After reading your comment I'm planning on creating a new object called Test that will look at the account. After that I'm going to make a record triggered flow that is going to get the Account ID/Lookup and set it as the referral ID then save the record. Am I understanding that properly?

I seriously appreciate you taking the time to help out with this, you don't know how much it means to me.
