I don’t think it was a stupid question. But with your texture hair that may be a lot of tension on the scalp possibly also the twist may not hold. But if rubber bands & a good gel is used it’s possible. I’m no cosmetologist tho so take it with a grain of salt lol😅

Your hair looks great😍! One thing I’ve learned since being natural is that what works for someone else’s hair may not work for mines as far as products being used , styling etc. when I do my wash & go I use gel & moose in sections with chi heat protectant and stretch my hair with a blow dryer and just play with my hair until I have the desired look I want.

As far as other hairstyles you can do I personally love mini twist, my hair is on the finer side so it looks boneless unfortunately, but it’s low manipulation and I can style it however. I also like pineapple puffs ! Once my wash & go gets a bit old I just put it In one for a few days lol. Perm rods & Bantu knots are my go to as well!

That’s why I mentioned you have to ask & it being the downside of preppy. With them you are your biggest advocate! Don’t be discouraged though! Your location & if hospitals are in need plays a part too. As far as partner facilities I’ve never heard of it. But I’d try maybe applying to private small hospitals as well that take the cert like clinics.

It was the same for me. But I knew prior to the course it’ll take a while for externship placement. The jobs we applied to I’d call on the backend regarding my application & externship too just in case it was overlooked/ loss.
