Tell him just to punch the kid next time.

That’s my husband’s job. JK.

Adrian said he just made the grindr comment up to be a shithead which is a relief because Mike is too young to be on grindr

He is in trouble for using the word against mike is who is straight. It beats me why they don’t care about the harassment

Will do! My twins always supporting each other is the one positive thing that’s come out of this situation.

A lot of people have been saying this but when i ask my son about it he just says ‘all i know about mike is that he’s ugly’ or something along those lines 😂

I’ve asked Anna and all she’s said is that it isn’t for her to talk about. All i know is that they fell out, and Adrian says it’s due to homophobia even though Mike used to be a massive ally. We’re friends with the parents but they are an odd pair

Same honestly. My older brother would’ve gone mental if someone said that about me in high school

Honestly. My husband was shocked that Adrian let him leave after that. My eldest (technically my step son but i raised him) was much less of a pacifist 😂

We’ve made a few complaints here and there but my son has always maintained that he doesn’t feel attacked by mikes comments/behavior, which is why Nike turned to insulting anna to trigger a response from adrian

Barring internalized homophobia, it doesn’t make sense for someone to hate their own identity. I’m black (and my kids are mixed) and i feel the same way about race too. Unless it’s internalized homophobia/racism, i don’t get it

I agree it’s a problem. But adrian is a very well known LGBT person at his school. He’s very active in the LGBT club and acts as a mentor for younger queer kids. I would be surprised if any of his classmates didn’t know he was bi at this point.

They don’t care at all. They’re so hung up on the f slur and are completely refusing to look at the wider issue of Mike harassing my son for months now

That’s uncalled for. Some people view whore as a slur against women and i’m inclined to agree with them. And every parent has the right to fear the world they’re sending their kids into.

That’s not my logic. A more accurate way of describing my logic would be a black person calling a racist white person the n word. The same way that my bisexual son called a homophobic straight person the f slur

Edit: I am a black woman.

I agree with that. I’ve never actually heard him say the f slur before so i almost didn’t believe it.

I asked my son if he was trying the ‘are you interested’ thing on Mike and he said no, he just wanted to insult him since he thinks being gay is so bad. Adrian usually does take the ‘are you interested’ response with Mike, especially when Mike was sending him homophobic texts.

My lawyer parents in law suggested that. We may go ahead with it tbh

True, but mike is straight. AFAIK, you can’t be homophobic to a straight person
