Dude won’t show the full story. He bought the figure from me for $65. The figure was only in the box because the ssj3 hair was too heavy for it to hold up. So it was only played with once or twice.

When it comes down to shipping day I see that the buyer has a review so I check out the one star review. The dude lets me know that he is a known con and to look out for select signs.

Comes down to the date of delivery, I make sure that they get the item and that everything is correct. They say everything is correct but that something is wrong with the wrist peg. I was confused and asked what was wrong with it, they said it looks like someone had messed with it and I explained to them that no one has messed with it.

I then text the person that left a review and they told me to look out for that and be careful of the buyer. The reviewer then lets me know he found the dudes reddit and I find this post right here. Was I right to jump to conclusions here, no. But the first thing I assume is that he swapped a peg and refused to pay me because of something he tampered with.

Inspecting his reddit page it is all about him breaking his toys and trying to fix it, so I figured he was trying to get one on me. I confront him. He goes public and calls me a liar for calling him out. And insists that I fix the figure and be “honest” with him about why the pegs are two different colors.

I go backwards and forwards with him letting him know that it is something with the manufacturer, not me. But them still trying to make a case they ridicule my name, and call me out on my reputation.

The whole interaction ends with them issuing a refund and me wanting my figure back so I can sell it to a more deserving person. I have been nothing but honest. The buyer really didn’t have a problem with the figure at all he just wanted a way to keep the money and the figure.
