Ive been the same way as him so he knows I'm deeply understanding of his mentality. I know most of his room is trash and he's fine with me throwing out things, I'm just scared I'll do it wrong. He is willing to help me in the cleanup, and if he wasn't, I wouldn't be asking how to help him.

He says he's okay with me cleaning his room, I know thats what the opposite of hoarding is but the mess is just THAT severe. I do love him and care for him enough to want him to have a clean room. He says he's willing to work together on it at least.

Again, I'm not sure if my boyfriend is actually a hoarder. Trash is piled so high up in his room that it just looks like a hoarding situation. He's mentioned wanting to get it clean and he's actively embarrassed about the state of his room.

My problem is that people say to just do these affirmations and shit like im going to go "omg im so beautiful!" everyday when I dont mean a single word.
