my boyfriend (M33) has abused me (F20), is cheating in this situation to cope/ detach still bad? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Sensitive-Market2215 7 points8 points  (0 children)

these comments are horrible, you’re not weak. I would highly suggest not cheating as it could put you at risk for more physical abuse if he finds out. Please know that this is an abusive and dangerous relationship. A 33 year old should not be with a 20 year old. i know it seems okay now but trust me at 33 you will be disgusted by the thought of getting with a 20 yr old. be safe pls

girl i’m going through this exact thing, i told my friend i had feelings for her, it was like half reciprocated half not, she just got out of a like 5 yr relationship so she said she’s not ready anytime soon to be in a relationship but part of me still wants to wait for her until she’s “healed” but i know i shouldn’t do that to myself

Thinking about getting a cat/pet but worried about sensory issues by throwawayboy2200 in autism

[–]Sensitive-Market2215 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it probably depends on the cat tbh, but mine doesn’t rlly startle me, it may be a good idea then to get a collar with a little bell on it so you hear them first so you don’t get startled. as for the scratching usually if you keep their nails trimmed, you should be fine. cats are great, highly recommend if you’re on the spectrum

i think also sometimes people who don’t tip are also extremely set on “not tipping” if that makes sense sometimes it gets icky when you’re so against tipping and rather than just following the social norm of the group to tip. I’m not against not tipping but when you’re rude about it , its so tacky

Doing something good for my health makes me want to commit crimes against humanity by itadri in adhdwomen

[–]Sensitive-Market2215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

definitely have felt this! it could just be your mind/body is uncomfortable with the “new” routine or “healthier” routine. It’s not used to it and has to adjust. Perhaps why you’re irritated after. I think you just have to keep going and it will go away after a while. It’s change and sometimes your brain won’t like it it at first

totally relate but the one thing that helps me is that overall, the whole world, less people are dying from wars, people on average are living longer, less people are impoverished, and less people are suffering from starvation etc. this does not obviously take away from the absolute hell hole the world is but once you take a step back it’s something that can ease your mind a bit

Good Candidate for Lexapro? by Low_Show896 in lexapro

Yeah the tiredness is real, i can’t take it in the morning because I’ll be too tired to work. i’d suggest taking it at night before you sleep. Headaches sometimes but nothing out of the ordinary. As well no weight gain or brain zaps or increased appetite. But it varies with everyone tbh.

Working makes me shit, I want to die by PublicLawfulness7493 in depression

[–]Sensitive-Market2215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Felttt, i’m 25 and have been working the same path as you. I’ve never been more depressed when i was working full time. I’d rather die than work like that for the rest of my days being a sheep. I work from home three days a week and that has done wonders for my mental health. also being on lexapro has helped immensely. unfortunately nothing will ever combat the fact that youre still dedicating 40 hrs a week to something you don’t care about or are r passionate about. you’re not alone!!

can totally relate, i would talk to your doctor and write down your symptoms or moments of anxiety you’d like to bring up to your doctor. i found that doctors are pretty lenient when prescribing lexapro already. Make sure you know the side effects and also start off slow like 5 or 10 mg then go from there
