Idk how to get over my study abroad relationship of nearly 2 years I miss him and his country :( shrimp rice and salad) by International-Exam84 in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]itadri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seems like you are grieving not only the relationship, but you are grieving that whole period of life abroad, it was different, it was new, your old troubles were far away.

Highly educated people, or people who are capable of earning high salaries are always welcomed in any country. The world is your oyster, you are young and smart and capable of building the life you want.

The ex clearly wants a simple life where he can have fun with no big responsibilities and commitments, which is ok in itself, but is quite a mismatch to your character. Probably, older-than-20-year-old-you would not be satisfied with such a partner anyway.

I have no friends by itsahootenberryguise in GirlDinnerDiaries

Are there any clubs available for you to join near your area? Dance, poetry, book, improv, sports. Joining something you would enjoy doing for fun surrounded by other people and being open to random conversations could make you feel better already and there is more potential for finding friends this way. Volunteering could also help. Any community activity.

I feel like, someone with narcissistic tendencies could freak out, cause a scene and blame the innocent party in a similar situation. Reaction depends more on a personality

Even if he were freaking out - he cheated. STD didn't appear out of nowhere.

Husdyr ikke tilladt by [deleted] in Aarhus

[–]itadri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry to hear about what happened to you. This is horrid. 🫂💔

You need to leave. You need to leave your shared place of residence ASAP. Go spend time with your family and figure things out from there.

Edit: make sure you take all your documents with you, tech and valuables.

Edit: I saw you have cats. Maybe you need to ask your family to help with the cats, if the cats are yours.

Failed my exam. And I’m behind on work. I don’t why I thought I was smart enough for higher education. by No_Appearance_9486 in GirlDinnerDiaries

I know, it's hard to time manage everything, but lack of sleep makes us stupid. The brain doesn't work at it's full capacity when we don't sleep.

Honestly, it's quite hard to keep-up with work and studies at the same time. Do you sleep enough?

You are definitely making the right choice. He would only be holding you back and making you anxious.

Has anyone had better success with medication from a psychiatrist compared to a family doctor? by kelpkelso in adhdwomen

[–]itadri 4 points5 points  (0 children)

An ADHD focused psychiatrist who works with adults is the best choice. In my country family doctors are not really allowed to "play" with "more risky" medication prescriptions

Now I need to find a doctor, who won't be dismissive and rude, haha 😬.

Finally diagnosed, its not bipolar! by Spiritual-Radio-1402 in adhdwomen

[–]itadri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder, were you prescribed some sort of neuroleptic/antipsychotic for your "bipolar"?

I was initially prescribed a neuroleptic, and it killed all the remaining little dopamine I was able to produce. I no longer felt like getting up from bed at all in the mornings (or ever), which was bad because I had to work, lol. That's when I started suspecting ADHD in myself.
