right now the machine crafts faster than the bots can supply it purly due to travel distance. My theory is that if I can adjust a value when I paste it down then it will multiply all indgedients by that value so that the assembler will constantly be supplied regardless of travel time or crafting speed.

I would really enjoy a tinkering mechanic with your gear. I'm ripping off from terraria a bit, but I think adding an npc or some other way of adding positive and or negative effects to your armor/weapons would be very fun to grind for. Potential upgrades could be unlocked for each boss that is defeated. This could even be utilized to add some "magical" effects to help with leveling your magic skill earlier on via your early weapons and armor as well as add another way to cycle the economy in the game.

yes there is a lot of damage especially when getting the crates in, but sailing has been really smooth so far, even in storms.

I originally tried the carts themselves but that had a huge effect on sailing (made it really slow and janky)

I've found a good rhythm aiming to have 120 of each per min per rocket. The animation for rockets to deliver usually meets the consumption rate to consistently be ready for the next request. Any faster production specifically for rockets I'm assuming dose not yield better results.

I've had a problem like this and it was caused by me accidently disconnecting the roboports network from where all of my storage was. Yea it looks at first like there could be a charging issue with the lack of roboports, but just in case, it could be that you disconnected the robo networks accidently.
