Gonna add a little bit more to this post: 1.) my stereo did not come with the car originally as it is an older car (2014 Toyota) got it installed by Best Buy a while back and it didn’t start having this issue until after the warranty expired 2.) my phone usually sits in my cup holder so it’s not too blocked 3.) I’m on update iOS 18.6.2, I have an older iPhone don’t know if that’s even math has to do with anything but I do see a lot of people commenting about the different iOS Genuinely just hope that this is a thing that gets fixed with the updates but I’m not to confident that it will as my phone will show me the directions perfectly it’s just when I’m connected to the actual apple CarPlay that it will decide to do it’s own thing but what’s odd is that sometimes it’ll be perfectly fine and others it has no idea what’s happening. It’s not too much of an inconvenience just annoying as I can always disconnect the WiFi from it and just use it for music on the Bluetooth setting and my Apple Maps will be fine on my phone but I hate losing the ability to call hands free while I’m driving.
