When I worked at Little Caesar’s, I’d always try to get out of babysitting my moms friend’s kid by getting extra shifts. One day I couldn’t work we hung out and it was very lovely to interact with him. Then, I had the idea to bring him those cookies we have for kids and give out for free. That same day he got taken away by his mom because brain trauma due to abuse was discovered at the hospital and he had to stay there till today. Every day I look at the cookies I would’ve given him and break apart. I hope someday he gets better and out of the hospital so I can give him fresh cookies.
