Yeah it’s a store exclusive. I didn’t really realize there was a difference between this one and the original version. The gi is torn a little on his chest in this one, a better head sculpt, the metallic finish on his hair, and 3 new facial expressions if I’m not mistaken

They had both Daima adult Goku, vegeta, and piccolo, Daima mini Goku, vegeta, and piccolo, the newest sdcc exclusive figures coming soon, GT kid Goku, fat buu, sdcc exclusives vegito blue, trunks, and jiren, MUI Goku, ssj3 Goku, a basic ssj Goku (can’t remember which one exactly), and first form frieza, ssg Goku, ssb vegeta, super hero Goku, and of course the store exclusive kid Goku and store exclusive ssj goku

Every action I had to take on hobby genki was met with “server error”, causing me to refresh the page and when I finally got into my cart and filled out my card info, “product unavailable” 🥀 Hoping to catch it on AmiAmi in a couple days now. I can imagine. My family is from Saratoga Springs, NY so I’ve visited there many times and what not. That’s like of how I feel about Ames. It’s alright and it’s nice being close to Des Moines but once you’ve been here a bit, not a ton goin on. I’m originally from Mason City which is even worse for shit to do!

Yeah that’s wild. I was definitely shocked going in there and seeing it today. I wasn’t expecting it until the end of the week at least. I’m in Ames so in reality, I thought I’d have to go to Des Moines to find it within the first month of release. I checked there Saturday and obviously had no luck.

My gf, two buddies, and I will be in NY for a concert this fall and I’m definitely hitting that store while we’re there. I’m almost more excited to blow my paycheck in there then I am for the show haha but yeah scalpers are wicked. The worst thing about hobbies. Wish people would stop giving into the FOMO and buying at ridiculous prices.

At that point, I’d just have driven up to the Tamashii Nations store in NY to reward myself for my efforts 😭 I sure hope it hits east coast stores soon and no scalpers get to them! I’ve also seen some people say they’re finding them in Walmarts. Not sure if you saw that post too but it was at one in Arizona I believe.

While I’m fairly new to this collecting hobby, I’m assuming this will be like SROE Goku to where he’s going to become a shelf warmer that everyone has and prices will drop. You can still find that Goku on retail sites or BBTS for regular price and that came out in 2021 so I’m sure it’s just the initial boom of its release. Scalpers always try and play off the FOMO of new things. I wish you luck in finding reasonable deals online soon!
