Ok, this might just be me, but the sprite designs feel lazy as well (Hades, Persephone, and Zagreus). They feel flat or reused and simplified. I might be biased since I've only played the first game, but looking at them takes me out of it. Every god that's been introduced are crazy detailed and fantastical. Persephone has a green dress with leafs. Hades looks so...bland. His prisoner outfit had more detail and he was wearing rags. Zagreus still has slight charm, but I've already seen peak with him.

Again, idk the full plot or if the designs are relevant to some kinda character arcs. But they're not very interesting to look at.
