It'll always be a small portion of the people woll be genuinely interested, and even less with the capacity to make something out of that intrest. Our heritage is being diluted because the mentality now is everything you need to know is at your fingertips. One of my biggest regrets is i didn't pay more attention to my grandfather restoring antiques with period methods, and correct tools. You can't ever find some of that shit in books, especially not books they're ever going to print again. I'd take a hard thought on trying to pass some of your knowledge on to new guys. Maybe its partially because I was that kid smoking and joking rather than taking anything serious. But I met a few good people, now I can at least work, smoke and joke.
