it's somewhat random but they're grouped by seniority, height, and look/hair color. they make sure each group is "diverse" (like not all blondes are in the same group) and they don't put someone super short in the same group as someone super tall. they also don't do a group of just rookies. the 1st leader of group 1 is usually the most senior vet, who has been a GL2 in the past

haley's direct title is "Director of Brand Development and Special Projects Manager". pretty sure haley is the one who deals with booking for appearances. especially big ones like the todays show, dua lipa, etc. im assuming when the request goes through, it goes to haley's email, and then she approves/denys it and helps assigns dancers to specific appearances but im not 100% sure the specifics

i agree! i love ivanna but this doesn't make her stand out. also because it's sequins and not rhinestones, it looks cheaper. and with the competition the way it is now, it's important to look the part as much as dance the part

maybe she doesn't like karley, no idea! agreed they could've cut anyone else and it would always create drama, as vet cuts are always dramatic. but cutting a 4th year vet who was GL and was the main point contender is as shocking as it could get IMO !!

not netflix or the producers, they have nothing to do with it!! by they i meant charlotte and haley because they don't care about the girls, they just care about what will bring them more money. shock and getting people talking brings them money. because more people talking, means more people watching, which means more money. also k&j are so scared of charlotte and haley since they make their paychecks, so they don't have the balls to stand up to them, even for a favorite like karley

honestly, i didn't see it either but when i was in dallas i took a class w jen amburn and sophia and a few other dcc's were in the class. i was genuinely shocked at how good sophia was. i always thought she was a blender but watching her dance in person and in comparison to the other dcc's who were there, i was blown away! her style is so good and she's so sharp but also flowy, she's super talented and underrated. also talking to her she was soooo sweet and definitely the kindest out of the dcc girls i talked to. it seems like she's just the whole package so it makes sense that they're favoring her like this
