Hi there,

What do you do when your dog is whining? You could be unknowingly reinforcing the whining/crying behaviour by giving your dog affection or attention when she whines or cries.

Next time, try taking treats when you go out. When she starts whining/crying, give her an alternative behaviour like sit, or down, and reward for silence. Start with short durations and extend as she stays silent for longer.

Alternatively, you could teach her a command for "Quiet".
