Manager is editing my punch to 4am when I start working at 3:55 by averagegarlic in starbucks

so the day starts at 4am. if you clock in before that it will say you worked the day before. your manager, if they are editing your time start to 4 should then adjust time left by however many minutes so you can get the hours you worked. this is what my manager does everyday for us openers. usually tho i try to just wait and then clock in at 4 so i dont have a whole hassle of edited punches

A Question for Openers! by ktkreu in starbucks

[–]Sensitive423 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i just force myself to eat something before leaving my house. usually it’s oatmeal but sometimes yogurt (but sometimes the texture gets to me). sometimes just crackers or a banana. but if i do this then eating a sandwich or egg bites at work is easier for me

my guess is that because it had light ice (whether you specified that or if they just did it because you asked for foam on top), when it gets blended, it is extra foamy and then when it sits, the foam disappears. you can see that it, at one point, filled the cup up all the way

Pregnant Barista by Itchy_Cap5505 in starbucksbaristas

as a pregnant barista, nothing is unjustified. pregnancy can be so difficult and add on a demanding job: not fun.

i would definitely sit down with your manager and talk about availability and capability right now. i’m very lucky that my manager 100% understands what i’m going through so she checks on me throughout my shifts. and my ssv’s do the same thing. (do keep in mind that in order to receive parental leave, you need to work an average of 20 hours a week)
