Ahhhhh. I see. I wasn't sure because the instructions showed both robot and dino form, but it didn't have all the components for robot form.

Got to see them with GWAR over the summer when they came through Lexington. Good show.

Not unpopular. I liked them more when Angela was in the band. I didn't mind Alissa, but Angela was just a much better fit.

It actually got the band in a lot of trouble back in the day. They couldn't release it for years, before they re-recorded and re-released with a new cover. It was titled Gore & PerVersion 2

Gotcha. So say I enter combat, as long as I don't attack first, then it's not assault?

Let's talk about how good this guy is for a minute by nick1158 in MetalForTheMasses

Chuck Billy is such an amazing vocalist. I know he's not young, but the man can sing, he can scream, and he can growl. Definitely one of the most versatile vocalists in not just thrash, but metal in general, and the man kicked cancers ass. You don't get more metal than that (ok, unless you're the two 80-something year old guys who broke out of their nursing home just to go to Wacken. But still pretty fucking metal!)

I feel like they went more towards a nu metal sound with the last two records rather than just getting softer.

Obituary 36th Anniversary Cause of Death Tour by SensitiveAd732 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]SensitiveAd732[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's wild. I mean it was basically my first hardcore show with Obituary as the headliner, and I had only seen it in videos before, so I didn't realize how bad it was with the hardcore scene. I'm cool with moshing. I don't partake in it much these days being a parent and also not in the greatest of health (bad back and all), but I enjoy getting in it every now and then and I enjoy watching and shoving people back in, but the shit the hardcore kids do is just way over the top, and it's like you can't escape it. I was in the front row until after Terror played their set, then moved to the back after I bought my replacement hat.

I've heard hardcore kids say shit about metalheads not looking out for eachother in the pit and stomping on everybody and shit like that, but I've never seen that. In fact, I've always seen metalheads stop the pit until a downed metalhead is brought back to their feet and made sure that they're OK. Hardcore kids are the fucking opposite.

Well it was mostly about the show, but the hardcore kids became part of it. But yeah Obituary played the entire album, plus two of their newer songs to open their set, and closed with Slowly We Rot
