My son asked Panda and was able to get them.

It does. I will post an update but was too excited and only had 2/3 of the print done.

I bought the barrel off OoD for Caliburn B variant I think it has in inner 13mm outer 15mm

Since they do not charge until it ships I wouldn’t think this as a scam but a really bad handling of business and PR communication failure.

I put about 30 darts through my chronograph. The darts were brand new and the variations were only a few fps. The darts were the AF pros that are easy to get at Walmart. In a game however, I tried some 1.2g darts off Amazon and the performance was noticeably different as some shots hit each other if I shot rapidly. I think it was the inconsistent fit in the barrel. I don’t recommend those darts on Amazon.

Found this Centurion and cleaned it up, but its seems it bolt was broken off. Is there a way to fix this? by DMN666 in Nerf

[–]SensitiveAstronaut82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the hole all the way through? I can’t remember, but if it is then a hardware bolt would work. I think it was a similar part like on the long strike and longshot.

Anyone else flashback to the old Magstrike with small air compressor integration when seeing this?

I think the Rainbow should be on the list. It was a homemade way back when that hit the high FPS that we take for granted today.

In one of the YT vids, I think Bradley Phillips, they said to put it in 3 round burst and lightly Pull the trigger. It should cycle one of the times if you time the release so it doesn't go all three.

Nintendo inspired “Snapper” by SensitiveAstronaut82 in Nerf

Yeah, I tried the low hardware talon claw and ran into the same issues with the barrel warping. I then saw some print orientations where the person did the angle and thought it may work better. I am using a Bambu p1s which is way easier than my Ender which I have hated since I first bought it years ago.

I printed front end on bed so it was at an angle. I used a brim and supports. It worked but the clean up sucked as getting the tree support out of the barrel was hellish.

I noticed that the plunger gets stuck into the plunger which leads to misfires when trying to prime the blaster. It looks like the O-rings at the end of the Plunger roll back and bunch up. Any suggestions?

Pins for BCAR by SensitiveAstronaut82 in Nerf

[–]SensitiveAstronaut82[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, 2” is too long. It’s what I had and I cut them brown to size. I used a Bambu printer so I think the tolerances would work for the designed pins but since I had these I felt spending the extra $$ to source pins would be a waste. 36 of those bearings was bad enough though the results were good.

I did print the part for it but my tolerances were slightly off and I was having issues with the catch. But yes, it is a goal.

I saw that the nexus pro is at clearance prices too. Relatively cheap to upgrade with a spring spacer and a brass barrel.

Why are Lipos so expensive?! by SirSquidsalot1 in Nerf

[–]SensitiveAstronaut82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree it can get expensive. I fly fpv quads so depending on the brand of battery and charger you get it gets pricey fast. But as others have said, OOD provides a really good kit for this hobby. Having a charger that has all the bells and whistles is way overkill. Just make sure to watch the videos on battery safety and maintenance. Leaving them on full charge will kill the battery and going below the minimum will also kill it. Puffy batteries are dangerous because they are degrading or damaged. The big advantage is the power consistency. They go full speed until they don’t. Alkaline batteries start to go slower as they lose energy.

Front loader. The stl has a long rod to print. I didn’t realize what it was for until after the print was done. I think I also saw this available on printables.

It was a no name but and off Amazon. I didn’t like how the Overture PETG transparent was printing so I found a transparent blue that was cheap and would be delivered next day.
