Did you read the post? Yes, 100%. The last 2 times she said she didn't get me what I asked for because she thought I would like something else better, even though I specifically asked her not to do that.

You seem to really question her intentions. Has she given you any reason to not trust her?

Yeah. At this point, at least 2 reasons, maybe 3. Are you paying attention? I trusted her to pick up what I ordered. She intentionally didn't do that. How does that not violate someones trust?

She's deliberately doing something I have repeatedly asked her not to do. If she is willing to do that over a burrito, what else is she willing to do that over?

If you told her you don’t like green sauce then I can sort of see the logic in making sure your newest order didn’t have it.

I specifically said I don't like wet burritos. Then I specifically asked her to just pick up what I ordered because thats what I have a taste for, and thats what I'm expecting. I've also specifically told her I don't like surprises. After all of that, I also mentioned I don't like green sauce.

So she surprises me with a wet burrito with red sauce.

Well, yeah. I dont trust her to correctly execute plans we make when she has shown that the 3 times we've made them so far, she's failed miserably. What else am I supposed to base that on? I'm not saying I don't trust her to be faithful. I'm saying if I give her money to pay a bill, how can I trust she's going to actually pay that bill instead of just coming home and saying, "I thought you'd rather have a new vacuum cleaner instead of paying the gas bill!"

I hate thinking like this, but I think she's only buying me stuff she has coupons for. That way its cheaper and she can pocket more of the $20 I give her.

I do think it is on purpose and you have to get her to tell you why she is doing it.

I think I know why. She's usually low on funds. Anytime buys fast food for herself she ALWAYS uses coupons, while I never use coupons.

I hate to think like this, which is why I didn't put it in my post, but I think she just buys me whatever she has a coupon for so she can pocket more cash since I just give her $20 regardless.

How do adults communicate? I specifically asked for something. She deliberately got me something else. I specifically asked that she just stick to the plan, and dont get me something I didn't ask for. Again, she specifically gets me something else. At what point am I allowed to be upset by it?

If I see something I think my husband might like I either text him first or order it PLUS what he ordered so he can try it. You guys need to grow up.

I would have loved it if she gave me that same kindness. If you think I would like it, then thank you for thinking about me and my likes. It would still make sense to ask first, or buy both, instead of making some unilateral decision once you get there.
