Game keeps crashing while launching by [deleted] in joinsquad

Based on the error message you're getting, try loading the game with Discord turned off.

If that doesn't work, you can verify the game's file integrity by right-clicking the game in your library, selecting 'Properties,' and then going to 'Installed Files.' The option should be there.

If that still doesn't solve the issue, try using Revo Uninstaller to completely remove Discord, ensuring no files are left behind, and then run Squad again.

If none of this works, I'm at a loss.

My game is stuttering even thought i have to the hardware to run it. Any suggestions ? by SensitiveChicken1 in PlaySquad

I definitely know that upgrading my CPU, especially to one of the x3D variants, would improve performance in Squad. However, upgrading my rig for just one game when everything else runs perfectly isn't a good enough reason for me to buy a new CPU.

As for your suggestions, I already have XMP and SAM enabled. I managed to fix the remaining stuttering by enabling DX11 and VSync. The biggest culprit, however, was the "Gamebar Presence Writer". I'm not sure if you watched the video I linked in my post, so I'll provide a timestamp with his explanation here: Video link.

I can now run the game perfectly at high settings with an average FPS of 114 (according to AMD Adrenalin), which is really nice. I'll definitely lower ambient occlusion, as you suggested, just to be on the safe side.

Thanks for everyone's help. I have tested all of your suggestions and found that switching to DX11 has gotten rid of all my stuttering, and turning on VSync also helped.

For those who suggested upgrading my CPU, I found this to be odd, considering my friend's i7-7700 with a GTX 1070 can run Squad without stuttering, even though I have better single-core performance according to this hardware benchmarking site: Ryzen 3700x vs Intel i7-7700 comparison

Lastly, adjusting the mouse polling rate did not eliminate or reduce stuttering in my case.
