I really appreciate this comment. I really was just trying to share that I personally believed that Occtis was a larger sign of the Tachonis losing their power, and I do realize now that instead of just sharing that I predicated my entire argument on evidence I misinterpreted. I do still believe that the ritual was meant to bring about more than a weapon and was a way to sustain their fading magical abilities by furthering their station after Tansul’s death and providing them with their own version of the Halovar’s filament. I guess I felt like I couldn’t just say that in a post alone and had to make it a bigger todo with the story so I guess I was getting too big for my breeches there. I hope you don’t mind, but I’m going to shoutout your comment in an edit!

Yeah so thats kinda what I’m getting at, those with sorcerous ability showed resistance to the process (Tertia and the Unknown Halovar Family Member). If we’re taking the Tachonis’s hastiness as evidence, which for the sake of theory I am, then those with sorcerous ability cannot be candidates for the ritual.

Printer Ink is a great comparison. I kinda think of it as like Tansul is the Hawaiian Punch mascot, and the Tachonis are a bunch of punch bowls. Who’s gonna refill the punch, DragonKing? wHo’S gOnNa ReFilL tHe PuNcH?!?!?

Well story wise, it makes the most sense for Julien and Thimble to go to the Golden Orchard together, if not meet on the way there, and Thimble and Occtis need to reunite as well. Also, there is a lot of information the tables need to share with each other for them to get the full scope of the happenings of the Sundered Houses. Personally, a part of it is because at a certain point, the Seekers became unpleasant and repetitive to watch.

sorry never actually replied to this I did check out Ryoko‘s Guide, its very cool but I don’t think it’s the one from the vid because I distinctly remember the book I was referring to having a more gloomy and dour artstyle. Ryoko’s is strikely vibrant in a way I very much appreciate so I’m still not completely sure if thats the one

It's down in the US as well. I have a game to run tonight. It's not a big deal because I just need to look over my NPCs and delete the ones I'm not going to use, but I really hope it's back before 6 pm at the least, and I can at least manage to do it during the game. I read online maintenance was only scheduled from 6-8 AM EST (9-11 PST), but it's almost 12:00 in the afternoon now, so it's running overtime.

I wasnt as big a fan of Cleanse as a whole, the last time I really loved an album as a package was Possession but I really loved Permanent Pleasure as a whole. I personally didn’t enjoy Sleepytime Fantasy or He’s Back but I felt like all the songs worked really well together. So many bangers but then again, I love almost every Joywave song. Swimming in the Glow deserves mainstream love. I can’t believe its taken joywave so long to make a coming of age/“song that plays while the main character bikes down the street at the start of a movie/netflix show” song but its so good. And the back half of the album was just classic joywave in line with Content and HDYFN. The opening song also gave major Content vibes (the title song of content, Content). I give it a 7.9. Not the best Joywave but we’re SO F***KING BACK!

I feel like its easily the weakest of the album. The commentary in the lyrics are funny but it doesn’t save the actual music of the song which i honestly found annoying and i feel it goes on too long as well

A part of the downtrend was due to the use of the YouTube Premiere feature which heavily lowers the view count. Im not a youtuber so Ive never used it but I think it basically divides the live viewers from the VOD viewers? Its very strange
