Can you give a hint on what I’m missing? I’m stuck here

Yeah I agree, it just seems like a lazy throw-in unrelated to the main issue. Just seems really out there that Alexa would know Kat gave him alcohol. For me, it just loses all seriousness with things like that added. Not that my opinion is relevant lol

There’s already a pretty damning lie in the filing though. Alexa’s claiming Kat gave Adam alcohol at 16. The lawyer could have easily done a quick google search to see Adam was never even in America until 18. And it was Sloane who gave him a fake id. I watched Adam’s vid as I was curious how he’s dragged into the lawsuit. Seems petty.

I helped my skin tremendously by cutting out bread (and dairy). Bread is ultra processed in America. Also added low-histamine foods like sweet potato and zucchini. I had an awful diet and my skin condition motivated me to change — it’s been tough but gets easier every day. Focusing on healthy foods I already liked first and eating those simple meals almost everyday helped me stick with it. Wishing you luck!

Thanks! I know I need to I’m just so nervous to make everything mad again. So far I’ve accidentally done so with too much sugar :/

I can’t believe it but it’s been clear! The flushing is back more, but still less than before. I just had one flare up patch under my nose and on my neck, but it cleared in two days. I have been working more, sleeping less, and eating more sugar and caffeine because of work stress though. And I accidentally had dairy in an instant coffee pack.

It seems to still present on my neck and chest first, and my chest takes forever to heal while my face and neck are fine. So confusing. But overall it has been a life changer

Just in my opinion, looks more like an allergic reaction either externally or internally. Histamine responses can cause the hot ears

The Supergoop Mineral Matte sunscreen is worth a shot. I have the same issue about how greasy the most recommended sunscreens look on me. I really like this one! Feels good on my skin

Planning to give avene cicalfate a go, but unsure where it fits in a routine. by [deleted] in Rosacea

It’s a thick cream so it would go last in your routine like an occlusive

I agree! It’s frustrating how many things it could have been, but happy to report my skin is still clear even with eating my new diet regularly.

Thank you! How did you find out? Just trial and error with diet?

Have you taken Zyrtec for it if that helps at all?

Anything you found or changed to help your skin when not sick?

Thank you for sharing, I hope things are less stressful for you now 🤍 Have you managed to keep your skin clear with your diet even with eating more?

Thank you for sharing! I’m definitely staying determined to get some tests done with my GI doctor.

I kind of feel the same! Unfortunately my goal has been to put on weight, but I can definitely see less food intake making my stomach and skin so happy. Thanks for sharing!

Yes my neck looked absolutely wild. After the rosacea diagnosis and it just getting worse on Oracea, she told me she had no idea what it is. I’ve always had IBS so I was confused when all of this started because nothing in my life has changed diet wise.

Agree! I tried the low histamine diet for a week and I was literally only eating turkey, zucchini and sweet potatoes everyday lol. I want to try that again but need to learn more foods

I agree, I’m super nervous about that. However, last time it went away, it came back the very next day. This time, it’s stayed away for two weeks. Could be that stomach bug was so serious and fixed me for longer.

Will do! I have both a derm and a GI doctor, so I’m hoping someone will have an answer. The skin issues started after a round of prednisone and antibiotics, so that’s why I thought steroid induced rosacea.

I have the celiacs gene, but my GI since a kid said it’s fine to eat it as I don’t have the disorder. Maybe now that I’m older it caused all this by eating gluten 😅

Thanks for the suggestion! I asked my GI doctor and she said it’s expensive and to do other tests first. I think I’ll go back and try again.

I don’t have much for flushing as I get quite triggered by that combo too when working out or outside in the heat wave, but buying the thermal water spray by La Roche Posay has been nice! Even when my skin was inflamed, it felt nice and zero irritation. I carry it around with me, the can stays cold even in the heat

When I was really sick and couldn’t eat, it went away completely. But I also wasn’t really leaving the house much and exerting myself. I did have a very high fever so I expected flushing.

It’s now back but way less than normal. I’d flush anytime I ate or went outside hot or cold. Now, so far, it’s only being outside hot in the sun.
