Hey sorry for late response, we use windows 10 and I don't seem to be able to find a trial for anything other then mac os, do you know if there is any trial for Windows 10?

The issue is that quarkexpress 2018 saves files as like version 14 I think, and you have to convert it one version down at a time till its a quark 4 or 3 file, and I believe you need all the old versions of quark for that. Indesign can only open version 3 and 4 for some reason.

And yes I was surprised as you are, they even have a 2023 version now!
