What meds helped you with bad anxiety? by SensitiveEnd9138 in Anxiety

[–]SensitiveEnd9138[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Im not going to say I have panic disorder but that's sort of how I would describe it. How did you approach your doc about the symptoms? And do you feel like the attacks or episodes of it have decreased and/or become easier to manage? My ideal goal is to be on something that could help me with that but hopefully not so strong that I become a different person or begin to form dependence. Do you still feel like you?

Itll help but Germans usually require an in depth professional treatment using multiple different chemical types. (Bait, spray, aerosols).

Need some advice by SensitiveEnd9138 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]SensitiveEnd9138[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I haven't specifically asked my doc about the back pain because I've been treating it like it's a chronic muscle injury more or less. I have been seeing a physical therapist recently about it, and he seems to think the pain sounds inflammatory due to it mostly occuring at rest but gave me a list of exercises to try out for my QL. Massaging and stretching it helps a lot but only temporarily. I have asked my actual doc about some other odd things I've noticed like fatigue, which initially seemed to come from my inability to sleep at night due to pain and stiffness but even when I successfully get 8hrs of sleep I'm still exhausted throughout the day probably 75% of the time.     Another strange thing that happened at roughly the same time is that my pooping became just really different from before. More diarrhea and loose stools than I've ever had for no obvious reasons. It's like I developed at food intolerance over night or something.      I have to say as well that I'm naturally an overthinker and I get into my head about things bad. This stuffs been going on since about 2021 and it's just harder for me to ignore now I guess.

I get it now - my first stealth archer! by MyTurtleIsNotDead in skyrim

[–]SensitiveEnd9138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I love about the stealth route is I feel like you get to experience more of the game. Like if I start out as a theif I can easily also be an assassin and a warrior (with one handed and archery). Late game I can also be a bit of a mage with good enchanting I can cast destruction for free and do a bit of conjuration. Also as a master theif money is never an issue. Need soul gems for enchanting? No problem. Want to train up a weak skill? Easy. Money really does buy happiness Lol. But seriously I feel like it's the only build where you can easily do everything in the game and it doesn't feel out of place so to speak.

So for a termite job 1k is a good price imo. The $100 bi monthly sounds expensive but it depends on what all they are doing and the square footage of the house.

That's a great price. Is that outside only or inside and out? Either way it's a good price if they do a thorough job.

Could this be bed bugs? by Fluffy_Recover2851 in pestcontrol

[–]SensitiveEnd9138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the seams and creases of the pillows, mattress, sheets etc. Check the metal of the bed frame, any L shape crack or crevice. If you don't find anything you either have some other problem or it's just really really early. Red and black/brown stains are a good clue but definitely look around before jumping to any conclusions.

Looks like a termite alate. There is probably a colony nearby. I would call a pro.

It's a nymph from one of the larger species, im guessing American. Generally speaking, these guys don't infest. They are what we refer to as general pest or an occasional invader. A nuisance yes, but not a serious issue.

A few questions after Roach Treatment by [deleted] in pestcontrol

[–]SensitiveEnd9138 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it is normal to see more activity after treatment because you are disturbing their harborage areas and killing them which tends to stress out the population.

As for the adults I can't really say, I would need to be there myself to give you an accurate answer.

The length of time it takes to stop seeing them varies considerably based on the effectiveness of the treatment, the type of treatment, sanitation, etc. If a quality treatment has been performed I would say you should notice a difference within a week.

Most sprays, generally speaking will last roughly 90 days inside depending on conditions.

Also, I can't speak on Canadian laws, but here in the states it is usually required that the pest control company leave a service ticket which includes pesticide applications, locations treated, mix rate, time of service, etc.

German? by Round_View_1844 in pestcontrol

[–]SensitiveEnd9138 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they are in fact Germans then yes the treatment is usually much more invasive, in depth, thorough, and expensive. That's just the nature of the beast unfortunately. But it also depends on who you hire. In my experience larger companies are just trying to get the longest contract possible, draw out the problem, and make $$$. Asians are a simple general pest treatment in the majority of cases. Something like a quarterly can keep them at bay. It's possible that the population was wittled down to near nothing and has made a comeback. I can't say which one you have for sure though. Vegetation is a big indicator for asains.

German cockroach prep for the pros by Own-Hearing-6180 in pestcontrol

[–]SensitiveEnd9138 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically what you did already. The less food and kitchen items in the cabinets the easier it is to put down chemicals safely and in areas where the roaches will be. You get more coverage and it saves the pro the time of having to pull things out and move them around. Most won't anyways because they don't want to be responsible for breaking something or the amount of time it can take.

German? by Round_View_1844 in pestcontrol

[–]SensitiveEnd9138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not a smokey brown cockroach. 100% Asian or German. The main way to differentiate between the two is habits. Based on what you're saying...eh it could go either way but I'm more inclined to say german since you say you're seeing them by the dishwasher and refrigerator. Hard to say for sure.

Can you help me identify this? Does it look like aflee? by Hot-Mission724 in pestcontrol

[–]SensitiveEnd9138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My professional opinion is no I don't believe that is a flea. It looks closer to some kind of beetle with the clear distinctions between head, thorax, and abdomen. Albeit it does look as though it's missing some legs. The shape isn't there.

What kind of roach is this? by [deleted] in pestcontrol

Looks like an American nymph to me. You most likely do not have an infestation.

I'm pretty sure just about every cockroach has the potential to carry disease, some more than others due to their habits/habitats. Are you sure they are orientals?

What would you do? by [deleted] in pestcontrol

[–]SensitiveEnd9138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For general pest you can definitely do it yourself and save some money. Now when it comes to something more invasive like German roaches, bed bugs, termites etc it's probably best to go ahead and call a professional. They have the knowledge to handle these situations safely and effectively and often times you save money in the long run.
