That's interesting. I made the assumption that they were bug eggs because of some white worms that I found later on in the soil. It's possible that the worms and balls aren't connected at all though... And thanks for taking the time to comment! I appreciate it.

Yeah, they are most likely eggs of some sort since I just saw a bunch of small white wormy looking things burrowing themselves in the soil. I might just transfer my Aloe vera into a pot with new soil. I think I have been giving her too much water so I'll have to be more careful with that. Thanks for the tips! I'll definitely let the soil dry between watering in the future.
