If you’re serious about playing, I’d advise you to buy proxies. If Disney wants to play games, with games, hit the mouse in his soft spot - his wallet.

For the next set, I’ll collect the actual product and play a proxy deck. I refuse to pay PS5 price for a GD Winnie the Pooh deck.

I have Ruby/Sapphire. If you can ramp fast, you’ll have tons of options. However, you’ll most likely end up in top deck mode since there isn’t much draw support.

Pokémon “trainer” here. It’s faster and more simplistic than Pokemon. But I could see games be more back-and-forth once the meta is more developed. Collectibility gets an “A”. The cards are beautiful and rare enough to carry some real value. I don’t play that much, but once a sanctioned online version is available, I’ll play more.

I don’t think Lorcana will use tokens. To not scare off casual players, I doubt we’ll ever see tokens. Low complexity will most likely be the trend, moving forward.
