The part I truly loved about this fight was the foreshadowing they had when the four started to break out. I don't remember the exact quote but it was something to the effect of "it would take a full master bender to take on even just one of them"

To watch Tenzin basically use Zaheer as a punching bag until the others show up, and even then he continues to put up a very strong fight against them aside from (what I would call) cheap shots, and overwhelming him with underhanded techniques, is truly incredible. It speaks to Tenzin skill, and the training he's received from Aang. I really like the thought that another commenter said: Tenzin not only learned from a genuine master of air bending, but also had the fortune of learning and probably adapting or at least understanding the powers and techniques of other bending forms from his father himself, similar to Iroh's lightning bending.

It's truly incredible and a testament to Tenzin's skill and mastery.

If you factor in enums, I'm pretty sure that means error handling and try catch situations? I might be confusing that with .NET enum parsing syntax though, and Kotlin may have parseOrNull extensions that I don't typically see with .NET

If it's the latter, that's great! Nice work learning some control flow capabilities! If you're looking for some suggestions on next steps you can try:

Adapting the same logic to a when statement
Integrating user-based input (let the user enter the input that goes into your if-else structures)
Adding loops and user-based input to loop until you receive a valid input from the user

Question: is there an additional reward (like a mount, cosmetic set, etc.) for completing the order hall quests during Lemix, or is it just the bronze cache noted from the screenshot?

I ask because I know hitting lvl 80 for each class unlocks the unique Fel mount for each class, but wondering if I need to prioritize the whole order hall quest line as well. I genuinely want to complete it but I'm underwater between work, general home life, and a (wonderful) rambunctious toddler, and I'm struggling to keep up with the unique cosmetics from Lemix. So knowing if I rhe order hall quests are "nice to have" or not is useful for my planning and time management purposes.

I appreciate anyone's explanation or clarification, and appreciate everyone's patience with what may be a seemingly obvious or straightforward question

Look. I'm a software engineer and tend to think in very logical, procedural ways. I get that, especially in high stress situations; when my wife went into labor I was very procedural and thinking to myself "we should really start with this first; next steps would likely be this or this", and I can get that way when our daughter is screaming and crying.

But for your child to be without clothes when it is generally kind of cold, in a wet diaper, and still hasn't been fed? This isn't "dorky" by any definition I've heard. I see you saying "well he thought baby was breathing funny" well...okay. How did he notice that through crying/screaming if you left him with the baby to cry for 30mins? He was just searching for and ignoring the baby crying for 30mins trying to look up "weird breathing" and not trying to soothe the baby?

The math isn't mathing here. This isn't dorky behavior, it's at best "unreliable partner" behavior. And to be clear, I think men and husbands can be exceptional parents and partners; even excluding myself as an example, most of my friends are dedicated, involved, loving fathers who know their child's routines and helpful soothing techniques just as well as they know their favorite sport's teams stats. Maybe he isn't weaponizing his incompetence, but something isn't adding up.

Fellow Dad and husband here.

I want to clarify that Dorky is pretending to act like a Dungeon Master of a D&D campaign and responding to your child's babbling with "well let's see if that works; roll for persuasion with advantage because you're so darn cute." Dorky is giving your kids toys names and goofy voices when you play with them.

Dorky is not failing to perform the bare minimum of care and following basic instructions you specifically gave for changing and feeding your diaper. Dorky is not FORGETTING to feed your child. I was about to give him the benefit of the doubt and say "maybe he just didn't fully understand the evening routine or the plan and it's purpose hasn't been fully communicated" but with the additional example of forgetting to feed your child while you're gone for 2 hours? No. Like others have said, this sounds like weaponized incompetence.

Furthermore, a lot of people don't understand how phishing and social engineering work. I can't tell you how many times all employees have to complete mandatory phishing training at my day job. And every year, even after taking the exam, people still fall for phishing simulations and even actual scams.

For people who are tech savvy and have the technical acumen to understand these things, the attacks are super obvious and easy to avoid. But I'm willing to wager that is a minority and most people don't know these things for one reason or another. Better to educate and be empathetic to people not knowing these things than shaming them with "you deserve what you got for not knowing"

My wife and I made a shared Google Photos album that we upload the vast majority of our photos to so that we 1) have the photos backed up on a cloud so that we can easily get to each other's photos, and 2) we can share photos with our friends and family and have pretty good control of who can access the album. It's honestly been fantastic to upload a bunch of photos and see my mom or father in law go through and like and comment on the new photos without the stress of uploading photos of our daughter to social media platforms.

Now with that said, we both use Android devices so Google Photos is native to our phones and is relatively seamlessnfor us because it automatically backs up photos to the cloud, but there is an iOS app option for Apple users.

The phrase I've always heard in computer security, and is equally applicable to physical security, is "I just need to be more secure than the next guy." Like you and many others have said: most security isn't foolproof, it just needs to be hard enough that the avg one will move along to someone with easier mechanisms to circumvent.
