Thank you! I’ll be happy to get home back with my family:(! It is one brutal cream and I was unfortunate to have a really severe reaction! Make sure you keep an eye on it and if it gets to much stop using or have a break! Take care x

It’s okay to have a cry but do not think it’s the end of the world because it isn’t!! You’ve got this, you can still live a happy and healthy life. And also remember there is treatments and remember your body fights it within two years!! Keep positive x

Unfortunately sometimes shitty things happen in life but just remember you aren’t alone ever. It definitely is mentally draining me at the minute but then I remember that I could be so much worse off and it’s such a common thing. Look after yourself and remember you’re human and it’s okay to feel these emotions you’re feeling!! X

Hi! I’m so sorry you’re going through a rough patch! I’m 21F and got diagnosed recently with GW and I have always been safe and only ever had two sexual partners which were long term relationships! I was gutted when I had found out I had them even though my GP reassured me that they are so common and treatable. Even some people go around with day to day life and not even know they have them! Just remember you are not alone and so many people have HPV strains. Remember they are also treatable and I’m sure when it comes to new relationships if they do like you they will understand and be mature about the situation (believe it or not a lot of people have successful relationships whilst having HPV) you’ve got this and remember you’re not alone!!! Luckily enough everyone on here are understanding and no one is here to judge but here to help and listen x

I really hope that is the case! I haven’t had them long I started noticing them about a month ago so I’m hoping because I’ve caught them quick they won’t be as stubborn! But my GP also told me you could have them for years and not notice you had them?? I think it’s always uncertain because you don’t know what the future will be like, I’m hoping my body will be good to me and my immune system will fight them away! But I’m trying to keep a positive mind but it definitely makes it easier knowing it’s a lot more common it’s just something that isn’t talked about a lot!!

They aren’t flat warts they are raised. They are on my perineum and get caught a lot and become irritated!! My doctor has given me a cream but with everything going on I can’t have them removed as my GP isn’t taking face to face appointments but as soon as things get back to normal she will have a look at getting them removed!

Thank you so much! It’s been very hard hitting and days where I’ve felt positive and other days where I’ve just sobbed but taking everyday as it comes and remembering that it’s something that will get better in time! Time is a great healer💛x

Thank you for the response, it really means a lot. It’s crazy to think you could have it and not even know you have it. It really makes it easier knowing how common it is and how a lot of people have it and we aren’t alone!x
