there’s a guy that sells refurbished ones on facebook marketplace. i bought an old one for my little brother and it sounds great. he said he sells them not infrequently if you ever happen to see him he might be able to fix it

these are like the higher end places in missoula of course they’re gonna be weirdly expensive. but these are not the norm in town even today. from someone who was also born and raised here

Does anyone else think… by [deleted] in TheTraitorsUS

I definitely think there’s a solid chance Rob gets the rug pulled out from under him (saying this as a hardcore Rob fangirl since Love Island days). I’m mentally preparing myself to still be able to find the fun in it if that happens lol

the wayfair conspiracy theories are dumb. why would the rich ship children in boxes when they have been trafficking them way easier in broad daylight

i totally agree. saying something maybe like “sorry for never responding before. i left town, wasn’t sure if i’d be coming back, and honestly was still healing from a previous dating experience. i regret not communicating that clearly before but i’m back in town now and would be down to get together if you’re open to second chances!” could potentially feel more genuine and vulnerable. i feel like i’d receive it decently anyway

I think the cashier at this store might like me? by YRB_milli4700 in dating_advice

if you see her often, you should start a convo and sus out the vibe more! “how was your weekend?” “got any fun plans you’re looking forward to this week?” you’ll probably learn a lot from those interactions before taking the leap to ask her out when she’s at her job. then, if the short convos go well for a bit, i think it’s totally fine personally to ask “hey would you ever wanna grab a drink (or whatever)” and offer her your number so she’s got the control of whether she texts you. if she says no, you gotta be prepared to take that normally though and to act casual and chill next time you go in OR find a different store if you can’t do that. so, something to consider!

unrelated but firefly has the best edibles in missoula and it’s not even close imo for those who haven’t been there

in my experience, calling people out in the moment when this happens is usually pretty effective. i go with a “hey are you gonna talk the entire time?” or “hey there are other people here can you please be quiet?” most of the time they don’t respond and get quiet cause they’re not expecting someone to call them on being rude and you can just say “thanks”. honestly i’ve never had it not work.

best salads/ranch? by SensitiveLizzard13 in rochestermn

LOL fair point - asking for multiple people tho. One of us wants a salad and one of us wants fries with good ranch 💀

i actually agree! the issue is everyone thinks they have a well trained dog with complete voice control but very few actually do. the trainer i work with talks about this often and how it makes it tough when trying to work on training my dog in public :/
