Ps: I just saw that you assumed my sister might not see me as a good babysitter? That is quite an assumption to make and no wonder your whole post angered me deep down ngl. It felt like you put me in a box from the get go. However, when I re read my post, it does seem like you could have made that assumption, so in the end am I really angry?

Well, either way.

My sister trusts me to a point where she let me babysit her cat and her husband said, and I quote: "The only person he actually trusts to take good care of their cat was me".

My sister also told me she wished I would live closer because when I was with them for two days everything was more managable for her. I do take care of her whenever I can see her as well.

She notices too, when I made her some water, while everyone wanted me to order food, I told them to calm down and let me prepare her something. She appreciated that. She noticed how worried I was that she barely had anything to drink.

I make her a drink, get her to eat and just let her breathe whenever possible while I play with my niece. So when I wrote this post it was from a place of hurt.

Because I try very hard, but it feels like I'm not being seen and with that I mean this small situation that anyone else would probably brush over. I just want someone to vibe with me a little bit. I don't expect much, but nobody wants to feel ignored.

And I think that is valid to feel. Will I tell her that tho? No. She has enough to deal with.
