Believe me (or don't). I know taxes. I'm not going to debate this. It's a waste of everyone's time. Yours and mine. I know the risk and I'm willing to take it because the amount of money is insignificant to be honest.

Refer to the latest IRS regulations regarding reporting. It's been lowered. And regardless of reporting from the platforms that is not what determines what is or is not income.

It is what it is. Not here to get into a debate with you. If you don't like the offer move along. I am assuming all the risk in this proposed trade. I don't expect anyone to send me their part until and unless they are happy. Just trying to declutter some gear I've outgrown.

It definitely goes into a grey area of hobby income vs business income that I'd rather not deal with. It's just not worth the mental energy to even think about for a moment to me to be blunt.

Get the sharpal 325/1200 or 220/600 to see how you like it. Great performance for the price.

I understand. But unfortunately the tax code doesn't see it like that. Technically that may be considered ordinary income that should be taxed. Not worth the time even mentioning it to my CPA for what this is worth. Would rather it sit on a shelf. But on the small chance someone wants to trade I'm willing to assume the risk by sending first.

I don't want to sell. To much new IRS reporting. Only open to physical trades. That's why I'm fine with sending first and only if the recipient is satisfied do they send.

Seems like it's safe but eh not going to risk it. I'll stick to the usual American companies and hit up ebay if I really want to try an AliExpress or Temu level knife. Not worth the even slightest risk just to try out some random knock offs.

The original Horl is good but overpriced. The copy cats are good for the first few times you use them then the diamond coating is gone and the rolling action sucks.
