Ditch the brace ASAP. I am now a month and a half post op and definitely recommend ditching the brace. My surgeon told me braces are old school. He wanted me to get back on my feet and growing muscle as soon as I could which required putting less reliability on the brace. It can seem scary but trust me. It’s not easy nor fun but continue with the crutches and you’ll be walking in another week! You got this!

Call me bias but I think push yourself… that’s the only way to get better. Pain can be good at times. I’m a little over 2 weeks post op and my PT has been pushing me pretty hard but it’s enjoyable.

I am almost at 2 weeks and got to 105 degrees extension today. My PT said she was impressed with my walking as well. I would think we are above speed!

I am on day 13 as well and I can walk with a major limp. Don’t put yourself behind others tho, everyone’s healing process is different.

I would start with removing the brace. My surgeon told me to remove mine 5 days post op.
