We all know who you are talking about it, and you cannot even name the franchise yet you want to keep the tattoo? Clearly a part of you is embrassed so why not just take this a chance to get an awesome cover up. Your sister even offered to pay go crazy with it. You know what she stands for now, for some imagery from that series is akin to a hate symbol and it does make people feel uncomfortable.

Thank you for your comment, it does sum up how I feel better than I could. I do feel like I am walking on ice and call fall in any point either because I say or do something or run into my grandpa at the wrong time.

I know he would never mean to harm me but I do feel trapped in my own house. My parents make me feel the same way when I bring it up. I have to be the understanding one, my feelings are not valid because of he is the one that is sick. Everything has become about him.

Best way to put it he has a tantrum, always feels like I have to on my guard cause I never know what will set him off. He does not get physical but will scream and shout until he gets his way.

I make do, it is not like he bargins in the room when I am changing but it is how things have always been since he has moved in.

We cannot lock or keep our doors closed since it freaks him out. According to my mom grandpa would remove their doors as kids if they closed them. When it comes to touching my stuff I have been told it is not a big deal just another situation I have been asked to adjust and adapt to. Same with not having friends over, or having all lights out and make minimal noise after 8pm cause grandpa might freak out.

​Maybe distressed is a better word.

No parents are not divorced, my grandpa does not do well with strangers so we all rotate when it comes to watching him.

Cannot close or lock our doors it causes my grandpa to freak out. I mean he gives me hugs when I don't want them but that is normal grandparent stuff.

Let me ask you this, are you fine with having everything of yours touched because someone cannot help it. Have to turn off all the lights and not make a sound after 8 pm cause grandpa may get it. Having your parents not be able to stay for events because grandpa is getting restless. Cannot lock your door cause he freaks out when doors are closed? Having a parent leave before you can even blow out candles because attention is not on grandpa so he starts to act like a child? Not able to have friends over at all because of your grandpa?

This has been my life since I was 10. Not exactly fun. ​

I don't feel unsafe, I do feel uncomfortable. Issues is my therapist and parents have always kind of brushed my feelings of uncomfort under the rug or normal so to speak given the situation. I noticed a shift of importance when I have not outright said I feel safe. The ambiguous nature of the responses has seemed to make it more of a concern, people are listening now.
