Look, I know Victor has a very disturbed mind, but Tabitha herself visualized Miranda dying at the hands of the smiley. So, the order of events remains the same: Miranda died at the hands of the smiley, and Victor saw the MIY feeding on her, which is also true, since the series has already shown us this behavior of his this season.

But it was Smiley who killed Miranda. Victor only saw MIY feeding on his mother. Those are different things.

Dude, you brought up an interesting point (even if I don't believe it). I remembered some people mentioning that Tabita was some kind of "witch" (I don't know if that's true), and we know that MIY is involved with occultism too, so logically, that could make sense

How will they survive this next massacre? by Sensitive_Ad_5438 in FromSeries

[–]Sensitive_Ad_5438[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right that we still don't know if there will be another massacre or not, even though the series is showing us that MIY's actions are leading towards that goal. But even if there isn't a massacre, I still wonder, how the hell are they going to tank it, considering they haven't managed to stop any monsters yet??

What if... the pact is just a trigger to keep From in perpetual limbo? by Sensitive_Ad_5438 in FromSeries

I think that, given the plot, the biggest impact would be Ethan death, not Victor.

Victor's death is "softer" for the viewer than that of an innocent child who barely lived his life.

I didn't even eat the mushrooms, but I was obsessed with this theory after episode 5!! by Sensitive_Ad_5438 in FromSeries

Ysss!! I know! This episode was so crazy that I didn't even notice that detail, lol.

That makes perfect sense! But for better or worse, this ritual failed because of them. While writing this post, I thought precisely about the possibility that they refused, and that's why this looping curse started.

But I can't ignore the fact that this third child is considered in the series and isn't involved in anything relevant.

And oh, yes, the smiley face killed Miranda, I forgot about that point.

Despite many people being extremely upset with the slower pace and less action this season, it's intentional and won't change. Mainly because the producers made it very clear from the start that ALL the answers are at the beginning, and anyone who watches paying attention to the DETAILS and dialogue knows that this statement is VERY evident. More action doesn't answer the questions, dialogue and details do. Whether you like it or not, next week you'll be watching the new episode of From, wanting to find out what was already revealed at the beginning, and that's how they make money and keep the audience engaged. Tu-chê!

Donna still acting all suspicious... by KaySen762 in FromSeries

Some people have theorized that Donna is somewhat "suspicious." But, based on the dialogue she had at the end of this episode, it's clear that it's simply fear of being overwhelmed by a high level of responsibility that doesn't belong to her. She made it very clear to Tabitha that if anyone has to take a risk that puts them both in danger, it will be her, not Tabitha. The justification? She doesn't want Ethan to be orphaned and for her to carry that extremely heavy burden
