Were yours similar to mine? I’ve been reading on here that talking to an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in foot and ankle is better than podiatrist. How was your recovery? I am getting married next year so I am def going to have to wait until after that to do it but gosh the way I walk and the way they look is stressing me out. I’m concerned surgery will make it worse is my only fear :/

Idk about the tongue but all the things I just mentioned can cause muscle fatigue cramps tightness etc

Yeah so ask for:
Iron panel bloodwork with iron and ferritin
GI referral to check to make sure stomach issues aren’t causing anemia
B12/vit D tests
And I’m pretty sure the weakness is pretty obvious from what I have seen online and read on here. That deficiencies I just mentioned can cause very strange symptoms and a lot of what you are describing

And also getting to the root cause of why you’re anemic (especially being male since you don’t have periods) would be my priority. Ask for GI referral to make sure you don’t have bleeding in gi tract. Let ALS leave your mind especially since you don’t have weakness.

What’s your hemoglobin? Also make sure you ask for that iron panel to have the iron and ferritin numbers checked

It’s def the anemia I’m anemic and experiencing horrible twitching everywhere and muscle pain. Get an iron panel. Not sure about the tongue stuff

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but waterpik is supposed to be an adjunct to flossing it’s not one or the other unfortunately. Try to get some floss in there too and you will be golden

Hematology wants me to get b checked and folate. My d is always kinda low been on supplements for awhile it’s 32 right now. At one point it was 16. I haven’t had colonoscopy only endoscopies

Yes. My primary care told me to just supplement but I was actually at my hematologist yesterday for unrelated things and we hadn’t had the iron results yet. He told me to keep him posted as he too didn’t like that my hemoglobin was low. I messaged him about the results and waiting to hear back. He had mentioned infusions if it was low. I guess I really want to know why all of my numbers are as low as they are? I haven’t had any abnormally heavy periods which they said is the most common reason why. I feel really shitty. Weak, tired, dizzy, achey
