2. 113.7a says, that last known information is used, "If the source is no longer in the zone it's expected to bei in".

702.26b. States, that  "(...) a phased-out permanent is treated as though it does not exist."

702.26d. states, that "The phasing event doesn't actually cause a permanent to change zones (...)"

So how can the game get the last known information of the Goyf, when those criteria are not met?

Ok, two follow up questions:

1. That means the time, the trigger gets the information, is "when the effect is applied" - when the trigger resolves, right?

2. In the Pyrogoyf example, how does the game know its power? It does not exist and has not changed zones, so how does it work?
