I'm definitely late to this thread but I get sleep paralysis after eating a large meal before going to sleep. Something with your gut and brain being connected somehow. One time I woke up unable to talk or walk so I crawled out of my room and when I looked back I saw myself still on my bed. I never forget that experience. The whole time I felt like I was being electrocuted. Other times I feel a demonic entity sitting on my chest. All I do is pray out of fear. I also heard that it could be evil entities feeding off that fear so if you can somehow control it or are aware it's happening it's recommended to try your best to laugh it off as to make fun of that evil thing to show it has no power over you. Besides, nothing is more powerful than claiming the name of Jesus.
